1
What is a Psychologist?
A psychologist is a regulated health professional. In Ontario, psychologists are governed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Most psychologists have a Ph.D. in psychology and have received extensive training in therapy, assessment, and diagnosis. Psychologists do not prescribe medications.

What are your fees?
Psychologists are not covered by OHIP. My fees are set in accordance with guidelines proposed by the Ontario Psychological Association. Most extended health benefits offer coverage for psychological services. Payment for service is due at the end of each session and you will be provided with a receipt that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance company. I accept cheque, cash, and e-transfer for my services.
3
Do you provide virtual or telephone services?
Although I am offering in-person therapy and assessment, I will see clients virtually or by phone if they prefer that mode of delivery.
4
Do I need a referral from my doctor to see you?
No, you do not need a referral from your doctor. You may set up an appointment by calling or emailing me directly. However, some insurance plans require that you have been referred by a doctor in order for the sessions to be covered. Please check with your insurance provider.
